Life is?
When, I first heard the concept 'Life is empty and meaningless', I exclaimed: "Is that really so?" This must be the conclusion of somebody who has never romanced life—had no joy, thrill or excitement.
Destiny, however, kept repeatedly thrusting the same concept in my face. Until I wondered, God, how can this be? Then, understanding dawned.
The concept says: "Life is" not "My life is". My life is definitely full of meaning, purpose, ambition, goals, freedom, responsibilities, family, society and what not. But what's the difference between "Life is" and "My life is"?
Any Ideas?

I would have thought about it in exactly the opposite way...the "life is" definition is whatever you think it is...the ideal version lets say....and the "my life is" is the way your life feels right at this moment. And when the two converge...your life is what you think life is all about, then perhaps you'll be happy! But then again, most of us spend our lifetimes figuring out what we want life to "be" like and trying so hard to get there, that we forget to enjoy the journey!

These newly enhanced Global Cedar trees require only 9-12 years of growth before they can
be harvested for lumber, whereas worldwide growth time for lumber is 30-50 years.
Other than growing at an astonishing rate, the Global Cedar has a number of other benefits.
Its natural elements make it resistant to termites, and the lack of oils and sap found in the wood

the wood is very lightweight and strong, lighter than Poplar and over twice

reading and reflecting on your post has helped me figure out some things, i think, or at least i hope, so i want to thank you for that. here is what i've come up with so far, but surely i plan to deliberate further.
"life" is like any object or idea or concept or whatever you want to call it. i like to think of "life" as a tool, a hammer or container lets say. if i looked at a hammer, yes, it's pretty meaningless lying on the table in front of me, but MY hammer is incredibly valuable to me. i have the memory of the beautiful, ugly, and everything in between things i have created with it and the determination to achieve the future i have planned for us. i, the builder, am pretty helpless without my tools, likewise, the tools are void of meaning (to me) unless utilized. our maximum potential is best achieved together.
i think you can see where i'm heading. "life" itself is not meaningful or meaningless, it just is. what i want to do with "my life" and how i perceive it, well, that's what gives it its shape, and consequently its meaning, or lack thereof.
